Italian pianist Andrea Vivanet has performed extensively throughout Europe and internationally, appearing both as a recitalist and as a soloist with orchestra.
He recently toured Mexico with the Deutsches Kammerorchester Berlin and has given recitals across Europe and beyond, including in Italy, Austria, France, Denmark, Hungary, Georgia, and Russia.
Andrea Vivanet began his musical studies in Cagliari at the Conservatorio di Musica G. P. da Palestrina. He later graduated with highest honours from the Conservatorio G. Frescobaldi under the guidance of Christa Bützberger and Marina Rossi, with whom he also attended the three-year Ars et Labor Masterclass in Piano and Chamber Music, receiving a diploma with distinction.
He continued his studies at the Franz Liszt Academy of Music with Balázs Szokolay and István Lantos, earning a Master’s degree with highest honours. He also studied with distinguished musicians including Miklós Perényi, András Keller, Ferenc Rados, and Paul Badura-Skoda.
Winner of a prize at the Osaka International Music Competition, he has performed at the Magyar Zene Háza alongside the Concerto Budapest under the direction of András Keller, and at venues including the Bösendorfer Salon and the Liszt Ferenc Memorial Museum.
His discography includes several albums released on labels such as Naxos, Centaur Records, and Brilliant Classics, featuring repertoire ranging from Maurice Ravel and Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky to Béla Bartók, Modest Mussorgsky, Karol Szymanowski, and Dmitri Shostakovich. His most recent recording, dedicated to the keyboard works of Jan Pieterszoon Sweelinck, was released by Brilliant Classics in 2024.
His recordings have been broadcast internationally by ABC Australia, hr2-kultur, rbbKultur, Danish Radio, and Radio Orpheus, and have received critical acclaim in leading publications including Gramophone, Interlude, and Chopin Magazine Japan.

Andrea Vivanet’s repertoire spans from early keyboard works to twentieth-century masterpieces, including French Impressionism and the Russian piano tradition, and encompasses both solo works and concertos.
