My Bio
Maestro Giacomo Franci is an internationally acclaimed pianist, conductor, and the Founder and Artistic Director of the New York Chamber Players, an organization he established in New York City in 2004. Recognized for his versatility as both a soloist and conductor, he has performed throughout the United States, Europe, Asia, and South America, appearing with distinguished orchestras and at prestigious concert venues.
Since its founding, the New York Chamber Players has grown into a respected New York musical institution. Under Maestro Franci’s artistic leadership, the orchestra presents a regular concert season at Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall, featuring acclaimed soloists, orchestral performances, and innovative artistic programming.
Born in Tuscany, Italy, Franci began his concert career performing at major Italian theaters before making his New York debut at Carnegie Recital Hall in 1998, where the Italian music magazine Musica compared his artistry to that of Glenn Gould and Arturo Benedetti Michelangeli.
Internationally recognized for his interpretations of Aaron Copland, Igor Stravinsky, and Ludwig van Beethoven, Maestro Franci has established himself as one of the leading interpreters of American and 20th-century piano repertoire. His acclaimed recordings have received international recognition, including world premiere recordings of the complete piano works of Aaron Copland and Igor Stravinsky.
A dedicated educator, he is also the founder of Tribeca Music Studio in New York City, where he teaches aspiring pianists and singers. His artistic mission continues through his work as a pianist, conductor, educator, and mentor to the next generation of musicians.

Artistic Leadership

World Premiere recording of Igor Stravinsky: The Complete Published Piano Works (Fone' Classics, 2-CD set), praised by Audio Review Magazine for its outstanding artistic quality.
The Complete Piano Sonatas of Ludwig van Beethoven (Sheva Collection Record Company) — an ongoing recording project. Maestro Franci has recently completed Volume VII (the seventh CD) of the series, continuing his acclaimed interpretation of Beethoven’s complete piano sonatas.
